"I was told about Dusanka by a friend who works in the film industry. So when my friend tells me that JLo goes to see Dusanka whenever she's in town, I believe her.
I had a rough December, and decided I was due for a pampering. So, on my friend's advice, I booked a Grand Classique facial at DC Skin Care on New Year's Eve. Now, given the roughness of my December, I hadn't made big NYE plans, didn't know if I would be up for much. In the end I decided to hang out with a few friends, some beer, Mexican food and a hot tub.
Good thing too. Because Dusanka is thorough. And anyone who has ever had a thorough facial knows, you will glow the next day, you will glow the the next week, but you will not be your personal JLo immediately after. Adorably, every time she did something to my face that was going to leave me red in the short term, Dusanka would ask - "Are you sure there isn't going to be anyone important there tonight? Are you sure it's not a big party?"
Dusanka tackled problems no one else has ever even mentioned during the facials I've had before, and I certainly felt important and well taken care of. For me, those things alone were worth the price tag (not small - though for a 2-hour facial, not excessive either). I don't know that my skin is approaching JLo levels of glow yet, but I've only been once. "
